Houses of Parliament Visit

Houses of Parliament Visit on Monday 13th August leaving at 9.20am

We will be visiting Parliament to find out more about the history of the suffrage movement and the work of Parliament. This visit has been booked to coincide with the Vote 100 art exhibition which covers the campaign for votes for women, the growth of the male franchise and the representation of women in Parliament. We will also get a chance to look at New Dawn (the artwork commemorating the long campaign for women to have the right to vote). Unfortunately, the 25 free places offered to us have been taken up. If you would like to go, please email the Public Affairs group, where we will either add you to a waiting list or arrange another visit. Likewise, if you have signed up and can’t go can you please remove your name from the list.
